Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic we will be limiting our trips to the post office to once a week and expected delivery times will be significantly longer than usual, especially for international orders outside of the European Union.
This lovely open-edition Giclee art print is all about books and their abode. It features our ever popular picture-poem called " What is a bookshelf" and with our wee drawing of a picsee reading atop the very shelf in question, and a wee ode that we wrote about it, it ponders: "What is a bookshelf other than a treasure chest for a curious mind".
The paper that we selected for this print is Hahnemühle's fine art bamboo paper. It is a beautiful matt paper with a lovely warm-tone and a subtle texture that is made from bamboo and cotton fibres (90% bamboo & 10% cotton). These are both completely natural and sustainable plant fibres which means not only is it an exquisite sheet of paper, it is environmentally and forest friendly too...all of which makes this the perfect fit for this artwork.
And as of 2020 we will also be hand-draw a wee 'picseeglyph' (along with the year it was printed) at the bottom of all our open edition art prints to make your print extra special and unique.
