We are very proud of our lovely new mounted open-edition art prints, we've been working very hard to get every part as good as can be and we think they turned wonderfully. We had the mounting board specially cut to frame the picture perfectly. The mounting is cut from a beautiful warm-white board that goes perfectly with the lovely earthy tones of our picture. It's also sized to fit straight into a standard 8 x 10 picture frame so no need to get an expensive custom-made frame because all the custom cutting & sizing has already been made! yHay ~:)
The picture itself is called Rainy days. We drew it once upon a time during a week when it was raining all day and every day. It rained so much that there was absolutely nothing to do unless of course you were a rain drop...until someone reminded us that there are actually lots and lots of fun things to do when it rains. There is puddle jumping and making mud cakes or just reading a story and we got so excited that we decided to do them all at once...but the books got soaking wet from the rain even before we got to the big puddles not to mention the mud! So we decided to take the books back inside where it's nice and dry...and in the end we got the rainy days just right and spent our time curled up in a good book.
The next day we made this picture for our wall and it became one of our favourite pictures ever...and we made this print in case it's one of your favourites too ~:D
